Pearl Jam would be really nice. I would also be happy with the Foo Fighters and/or Beck.

do not bring Pearl Jam! They are way overplayed and waaay overrated. I'm sick of hearing them and Nirvana on the radio every 2 minutes.

I wish there was a ban on booking bands that have already played ACL 2X or more. These include Wilco, Rilo Kiley, Shawn Colvin, Abra Moore, Jack Johnson, Kings of Leon, Ben Kweller, Ryan Adams, Asleep at the Wheel, Patty Griffin, Lucinda williams, My Morning Jacket, Patrice Pike, Spoon, Rachael Yamagata, Slightly Stoopid, Theivery Corporation, Donavon Frankenreiter, Terri Hendrix, Zap Mama, Peter Bjorn and John, Kaiser Cheifs, and several others.

Don't get me wrong, I love almost all of those acts, but ACL is beginning to be one long deja vu.

oh come on ... we're talking about the "headliners" not the 2nd Grade Choir of New Orleans, or some other one off ... we're talking about a handful of bands and realistically no more than about 20 ... I totally agree the festival is replaying too many acts ... yet every year i buy from the first batch of tickets available ... here's to hope!

Apparently some of you did your homework on background info on some bands, and you've convinced me that Pearl Jam, Blind Melon and Neil Young are solid possibilities. Honestly, I dont care who plays so long as it isnt Bjork or Bob Dylan again... I STILL kick myself for checking out Bjork and not The Killers last year. You gotta love Bobby D, but my man should have given up performing live about 35 years ago. I saw The Raconteurs were performing live again with Jack White, anyone think they'll play ACL again? Surely Jack White feels bad for what happened with the White Stripes debacle last year (he surely felt worse than Charles Attal who did nothing to make the situation right, and why should he have - he already had our money). For the less main stream acts, I'd like to check out some guys I missed in years past: Built to Spill, Band of Horses, Yonder Mountain String Band, Dr. Dog, etc.

Blackbeard Delight, that "Hall & Oats" thing was hysterical. The only thing that would be better than that would be if they headlined on Saturday, and WHAM! headlined on Friday... the annual 'Roo people would be sooo jealous.

Metallica, Robert Plant, Bob Mould, Neil Young and Wilco. I have zero interest in Pearl Jam. I wasn’t interested in them 15 years ago and I'm not now.

Lesser known bands:
Shazy Hade
The Kissers
Voltress
Agent Orange
Mathew Sweet
Priestess
Yusef Lateef

The Raconteurs are coming out with a new album, which means they will probably tour. I would bet they will be there
