YA! Good one! Boys, lets get real for a moment here... Sorry for my f bomb, it was out of place... I dont pretend to control these blogs, but lets look at this realistically...
1. MMJ... GREAT band, I have seen them many times, there great, but they are not headliner quality... if they were a headliner, people would laugh at acl... Think of it this was, MMJ v. Wilco/NIN/Radiohead/Rage? I cant think of a former headliner of ACL that was at their level... I agree their good, and they will be at ACL, but lets be serious with this...
2. No, none of us have the lineup, except for ACLFESTRUMORS2008, who of course has all the contacts in the world... Let me state that his blog will most likely be deleted the first minite after the real lineup comes out... MY point is that I am not saying we cant speculate, but be smart about it! Never has a Lolla headliner repeated that position at ACL... Radiohead, thus, will not play. Lets just try to be real hear and not just throw snot around... if you want to do that, go to the ACL forums, please.
Friday:Raconteurs/Jack Johnson/Radiohead Saturday:REM/Beck/Wilco Sunday:Neil Young
Also top others: Sheryl Crow My Morning Jacket Modest Mouse Oasis Death Cab For Cutie Bright Eyes Lupe Fiasco (maybe with Kanye or Rhiana considering their tour) dont know when that ends though
The Black Crowes, with their first album in 7 years and no austin show....mmmm dont't they play the backyard every summer, maybe they are just saving it for acl...it makes sense.
Rcantu if you want to be real, you should know that NIN or Rage would never be at ACL. Well MAYBE Rage, and that's a big maybe, but never NIN. Obviously ACL has a specific kind of music they have at their festivals, and NIN are nowhere that kind of music. Just pointing that out...
