Leonard Cohen headlining Sunday means he's headlining ACL? Didnt we just deal with being entertained by an inaudible musician as the headliner last year? Cohen is all right, but because he was inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame a few days ago doesnt mean he'd be the perfect fit to play (or HEADLINE) ACL. I guess if thats true, the good news is we'll most likely get to see Lou Reed play at some point, him and Cohen are inseparable these days

MMJ and Cohen would be totally boss. I too am dubious about Leonard's vocals would be like, but he's a living legend who I never dreamed I'd see perform. Tom X, you better not be toying with us!

i'd like to know where you heard this, man. both would be awesome. MMJ was one of my favorite sets from last years ACL. but where are you seeing these confirmations??

I can't find anything else on the net about this (other than Cohen having announced the first leg of a world tour). If legit, I'd suspect someone at SXSW has let something slip.

SXSW has nothing to do with the booking agents at C3, so it wouldnt come from there... this is most likely bogus, unless the person who wrote this gives me a link to see or a phone call to make, this is a lie in my book

i think MMJ has a VERY VERY good chance of coming back again this year. they did a geeat job last year..the crowd was really into their set.

also, they're finishing up a new record. new record=tour (for most bands, anyway).

but yeah...i won't believe it until i see it, but i sure hope they're coming back!!!

I could see MMJ in fact i can almost guarantee they are there but leonard cohen? no. well at least not as a sunday headliner. no.

to be honest with you that looks pretty damn accurate as to what i was thinking. Allman brothers, jack johnson, rem. Though i still have trouble believing that they would still go after REM considering all the shows they are already doing in and around austin. And these are not confirmed acts. they are still rumored. But i have a feeling that it is pretty acurate. I am still hoping for a somewhat of a different headliner. besides rem and jack johnson

ok so i commented before i realized that aclfest2008 was just trying to bring notice to his own rumors blog. Honestly i dont think that site is anything at all. All it is, is a collaboration of any band that has been mentioned as being a possibility. most of the bands are repeat acts. What a joke
