By the way, ALL REVIEWS found on the web describe FNM performance at Coachella as EPIC....you fucking moron. Probably you were desperately waiting for David Guetta's set...
Muse, Gorillaz, Vultures, LCD Soundsystem were epic.
I was 20 feet from the stage and Im telling you it wasnt a good show, the vocals where straight garbage. Why dont you suck Mike Patton's dick? Do you still live in the 90's or with your mother? I think slayer, nickelback, and puddle of mud are touring, why dont you hit those shows up instead.
I watched FNM show at Youtube and then I read all reviews on the web and all of them have the same conclusion (EPIC), except you and the frat boys watching MGMT on the other stage. I can't live with my mother 'cause she is dead. To do that, I will have to live in a grave. Finally, Mike Patton will still be a genius regardless of your homophobic remarks....asswipe
You watched them on youtube. That says it all. MGMT is about as cutting edge as Faith no More. They both had good songs years ago but now are irrelevant. Check out youtube of the Gorillaz show if you want to be entertained. Someone that wasnt in the crowd will never change my view about a show that they caught on youtube. 3 doors down is touring this summer you should check them out.
Adam, I have several friends who were at Coachella and they all thought FNM was amazing and they aren't even fans. They also really liked Muse and the Gorillaz. But I heard LCD was not so great. Anyways...
Faith No More is a very under appreciated band for people who only know the song "Epic" which to me is one of their weaker songs.
You are entitled to your own opinion, but calling Patton's vocals garbage is ridiculous. Mike Patton can probably out sing 97% of your favorite vocalist. His vocal range is insane.
Do some research on FNM. Pick up Angeldust and King For A Day Fool For A Lifetime and your opinion will probably change some. =)
I respect that approach, usually live shows get me excited about music that I am unaware of.
This simply wasnt the case with FNM. The Coachella lineup was great all around and my only complaint came from that show. Im not even a fan of Muse's music but their live show was something I was told is must see, and they were right.
Again I revert to the fact that I was there, and would be pissed to see a headliner spot given out to them.
