i would totally be down for the chili peppers even if it is Frusciante-less. No one has said anything about the Black Keys coming back, they have a new cd out may 18th and Dan Auerbach seems to be in Austin all the time.?. If the laws of attraction really work, Jack White, Ben Harper, Dan Auerbach, and Neil Young will all be there!
Please please don't let be Muse one of the main acts. Musical talent should be a prerequisite and they have none. They are the most forgettable band mentioned here.
One of the guys does have an interesting pirate shirt however.
Interpol is amazing, I would love to see them live. It sucks that they probably won't be there! What amazing lyrics...

No musical talent? Are you serious? Muse is one of the most innovative bands of the decade. They can play their freakin' instruments. Geez.

No talent? The stuff I saw Matt Bellamy do with his guitar at the concert I went to made my jaw drop. Some of the basslines are downright sick too. And I've also seen the drummer tear it up too. Not only that, the singer's voice has a really big range. And hell, the front man is a great pianist too.
They are one of the most talented bands I've ever seen. Even someone who I dragged along with me, who has never heard them, said the guitarist/singer (Matt Bellamy) was possibly the most talented musician he's ever seen.
Whether you like the bands music or not, don't give me that no talent crap.

Hmm..I just saw U2's last scheduled tour date is actually October 8 in Rome. I suppose it's possible they fly to Austin on the 9th and rock out on Sunday the 10th!

You must really be a shit guitarist then. Have you seen some of his guitar solos? And seeing them before U2 does not do them justice at all. Opening bands always have messed up audio and stuff. Go watch HAARP and then tell me they're shit.

Don't go to their myspace, everyone knows myspace is a joke for the teenagers. Go to their official websites with the big kids, Muse.mu
