Miranda does have a new album out and shes rocking both the Texas and Nashville charts. I would LOVE to see Brad Paisley or Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan would be awesome.

On the rock side I'd like to see Radiohead, Coheed (i know they played last year, but still...) Soundgarden, and Cobra Starship

I think Jay Z is gonna play it. He is on the festival circuit.

Muse seems pretty certain. Anybody have any guesses about Arcade Fire? I'd kill to see them live.

Saw Spoon in Minneapolis on Sat night, and talked with Jim Eno afterwards and he said they are playing ACL this year.

I am a huge MUSE fan and I would love them to headline ACL again but I guarantee they are not on the bill this year. The logistics of it don't make any sense for their current tour and why would they have played sxsw as headliner?

Muse's website says they're going to release fall tour dates in the U.S. They seem to be on a festival circuit right now, why not ACL?

I'm also wondering what seems more likely as an act, Julian Casablanacas or The Strokes. Aren't they coming out with a new album soon? Or am I just wishful thinking?

Doesn't make sense with their current tour???? You do realize that ACL is in October right? Their current tour ends in August.

Spoon would make a lot of sense and would also be awesome.

Also played SXSW as a headliner??? There really aren't any headliners at SXSW. They did play SXSW that is true, but it is also true that SXSW acts make there way to ACL sometimes.

On top of that they played at Stubbs for SXSW which is owned by Charles Attal and I know for a fact that he was in attendence. I'm not saying they will be there but there is alot of evidence that says they will.

I also want to point out Muse didn't officially announce the SXSW date until two days before it and played a short set list. They've been playing a bunch of festivals and are coming back to the US in the fall. Seems likely to me.

Also Arcade Fire has an album coming out later this year if I hear correctly, if thats true then they should be touring. They'd be great.

please somebody show me a link to the exact part of MUSE's myspace that says that are announcing more US tour dates for the fall.

Link, there was a banner up that said they would be announcing more US dates but it is no longer up. If they come back to the US during that time it would seem ACL would be extremely likely. I would think the reason they would be coming back to the States is for ACL and then sprinkle in a few tour dates around it.

so without any proof of an upcoming return in the fall I see no evidence that suggests MUSE will be at ACL.

Well not tour schedule evidence but the DJ's on 101x have been hinting at it. One of them went as far to say if you like Muse then you should buy the early ACL tickets when they go on sale because sometimes we know something.

They also played that not so suprise show at SXSW at Stubb's (owned by Charles Attal of C3 presents) with Attal present at the concert.

There is nothing absolutely concrete yet but it is also not a rumor out of thin air. There is some substance behind it.

Theres no hard evidence, but it seems logical. They took down the banner saying more US dates coming when they took down the SXSW thing, but I assure you it was there.

They are coming back in the fall, DJs have been mentioning it, they've played ACL before though its been a little while, they've been playing most big festivals (that have fallen on the dates of the tour), and the only show in Austin they played on the tour was at a small venue and somewhat exclusive with a short set list.

I have no hard evidence, any bands we talk about now is pretty much just speculation, but if I was a betting man I'd say they are going to be there.
