Eagles should NOT be booked for ACL. They are old and washed up. Sure they have a good greatest hits album. But they're live performances nowadays is total shit.

that didn't stop acl from booking bob dylan as the top headliner in 2007. i love listening to old bob dylan albums, but that live performance was just painful to watch.

Have you actually seen their live performances as of late Pwntek or do you just not like the Eagles?1? Every recording of every live performance I've seen of them has been pretty good. There is a difference between you not liking the Eagles and the Eagles not putting on a good show.
I like the Eagles...when they are playing on my stereo not taking up the sunday headliner spot at acl. yes ive seen their live shows lately, ive seen them live. Wont see them again: Eagles live show = SNOOOOZE FEST 2010
And you can't even compare Eagles to Dylan. Not even in the same league. The Eagles are a great rock band. But they should just stick to arena tours. Where they can get more money for their tickets and their fans can all have a nice cushy seat and plenty of room to store their walkers

i agree with that, i wasn't comparing their quality of music, stature, or relevance in the music world. you just seemed annoyed by the fact that acl might book some old guys putting on a shitty live show for the headliner and therein lies the comparison. it was an old guy putting on a shitty, snoozefest of a show. i don't know anyone who enjoyed that dylan performance in 2007.
