nobody I know won. I hate this way. Why can't they just send an e-mail a week before so everyone gets it on time, and make it first come first serve. They didn't tell us how this was randomly selected or anything. For all we know a bunch of ACL employees put their friends on the winners list.
what a load of crap. i'm sure people with multiple addresses won more than once. since they can only buy 1 pair, are they going to give somebody else a chance with the unsold tickets or are those just going to be full price? they probably picked the same people bunches of times in order to cut down the number of cheap tickets that are sold.
Damn people, it's just a random lottery. While I did not win (and yes I did use multiple email addresses) I am not about to go all conspiratorial and blame my loss anything outside of rotten luck.
Assuming tickets still go on sale in groupings, you'll be able to pickup slightly discounted tickets before the lineup is released. Not counting the presale, didn't prices go up about $30 over the course of selling tickets last year?
