I don't know a ton about Bloc Party, but I know The National is brilliant. Check out "Fake Empire"... I don't know how you could argue.

I don't know if I am right, but Paul Simon would do something like this, even through he has never paid the TV show. Neil Young is touring and I have heard his name a lot in other circles and him and the Who are names bigger then RHCP and Smashing Pumpkins. David Gray is doing some Fest in England, so that is a maybe. Both Beck and Ryan Adams have new records coming out, so that would be a good fit.
