Anyone has heard anything on Roger Waters? He'll be touring the country in the summer.

Rogers Waters would be incredible. The Police would be cool too. Ive also heard Bob Dylan, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead, and even Green Day.

I just checked the pollstar website. Bjork, Interpol, Beastie Boys, Arcade Fire and Manu Chao are playing several festivals this summer. It would be great if they make it to ACL.

The Police are coming to Austin in March or May, I don't think they'd come back that soon. Red Hot Chili Peppers are coming to Texas in March, and they have been quoted saying they just don't like austin... And also RHCP is a rumor every year, but hey no one knows yet.

The Police will be in Dallas in June, but no word of an Austin show...highly doubtful for ACL

The Police are playing Bonnaroo this summer, so them coming to ACL isn't that far-fetched. I was at Southpark Meadows in '83 the last time they were in Austin...they are an amazing band.

What about Pearl Jam? They missed all of TX for their 2006 world tour, and they just announced a bunch of festivals they will be playing in Europe at the beginning of this summer. I'm sure they would love to perform a bunch of the ant-war tracks on their new record in Dubya's back yard

Pearl Jam hates bush. And they also hate Texas...because they hate bush. Highly doubtful for ACL since they have been quoted about highly disliking austin.

Based upon Prince's resurgence of late, I wouldn't be surprised to see him on a main stage Fri or Sat. Questionable idea, but his performance would likely be the big hit

Prince is doing his cushy Friday and Saturday night at the Rio Casino in Las Vegas; I don't think he's going to brave the 100+ degrees of Texas for an outdoor show anytime soon.

The Police won't be playing ACL. Their website (www.thepolicetour.com)just announced the European tour right on the days ACL is taking place.

They'll be busy playing the following dates:
13 Sep Arena, Amsterdam
16 Sep Sazka Arena, Prague
19 Sep Stadthalle, Vienna

That leaves one possible headliner out of the question.
