It's very comforting to know that know one died from that large fire on Friday, but it probably would have done everyone a favor if it went out of control and just burned the festival down. Bjork was fucking AWFUL and she single handedly ran off 20,000 people. The White Stripes backed out at the last minute and was replaced by Muse (very good live by the way, but in no way was it the white stripes) and I tortured myself by sitting through all 90 minutes of Bob Dylan's set, of which I was able to understand a total of 7 words he sang.

Mr. Attal, what the fuck are you doing? This was my 6th and last year attending the festival and good luck from here on out; we'll be putting our money and energy into traveling to TN for Bonnaroo next summer... even before we see the line-ups, I rest assured they wont go about throwing a half-ass party.

Agreed. It was weak. I had a great time, only becauser I spent the weekend with friends. But talent-wise, it was not very good at all. Bjork was indeed horrible. How much French horn can a person be expeced to tolerate? I thought there was a fire actually onstage during the first ten minutes of Dylan, judging by the never-ending stream of people heading in the opposite direction. I'm actually a big Dylan fan. He was just bad....too drunk again most likely. Great band though. The best shows (for me) were all in the WaMu tent. Beau Soleil, Ziggy Marley, Big Sam. I wish I had seen M.I.A, but did not. I don't feel too bad, since I bought two three- day passes early and sold one on Craig's List. The festival cost me $60. I'm still deciding if I was cheated or not! Had the White Stripes made it, and Amy Winehouse, I would have felt a lot better I think.

I understand that its not Mr. Attal or the promoters fault that the White Stripes backed out, but I think it was a slap in the face to fans to read the response from Attal that said, "Hey, we arent replacing them, these things happen, its Rock N Roll."

Why the fuck should he care, he already had our money? I gave Bjork a shot because I had never seen her perform and I most likely would never spend $30 to go catch a Bjork show... I wish I could have those 45 minutes back. I had seen Dylan twice before, and although his band sounded better than ever, he sounded worse than ever. I know he's a legend, but so is Nolan Ryan, and you dont see the Texas Rangers offering the old man tons of money to make a come back.... some things are just better left alone.

I agree with the Tom and LetDown, this year sucked and I feel betrayed that before they announced the line-up, I was sold the bullshit that, "ticket prices went up this year because of the amazing line-up." Thank god I had my friends there with me, I had more fun with them than sitting through most of the mediocre music. Its a shame that it went down the way it did because they lost a supporter for life. 2007 was my 6th time partying with you all, and it will also be my last - i dont trust these fucks anymore.
