Thanks bud... I just read your reply on the other thead. Im kind of heart broken that Built To Spill isnt on either list, but it looks like it would still be well worth the $120 for the weekend. I find it funny that Vedder would appear by himself - do you think it would be more like Perry Farrell introducing Jack Johnson in 2004, but more than likely there to introduce Kings of Leon? Thats my guess. Yo La Tengo is SICK live, i'm pumped to catch their set

Joe, couldn't agree with you more on BTS. As far as Eddie, I'm really finding that strange too, but it has him down as playing for an hour. We'll know soon enough I guess...

does that 1 hour time slot coincide with Neil Young? If Vedder is in town for the festival, no doubt he'll be on stage at some point with his boy Mr. Young

Good point! I didn't even think of that. Eddie's the hour before Neil as of now.

this is where rumor mills get me into trouble. That news has my Blood Pressure through the roof. Holy crappola. NY and EV. I am though a huge PJ fan and a neil young fan but i think that would be an epic live show in austin TX. No doubt to see a G dubya Bush effigy, I wonder how the crowd reacts? I will be sreaming my head off. HAHa. I have my fingers crossed

Confirmed Acts thus far include Asleep at the Wheel, Blue Mother Tupelo, Raul Malo, Reverend Horton Heat, Robert Earl Keen, Eli Young, The Dynamites featuring Charles Walker, The Jellydots, Christina Bell, Charlie Musselwhite, Ryan Bueter, Kevin Gordon, Sara Hickman, Kings of Leon, Andrew Bird, and Ben Kweller. All acts have been confirmed via myspace and other sources, Austin City Limits has NOT officially posted the line up.

A recent interview with Charles Attal on austin360 provided these helpful pieces of information: The Police are definitely not playing ACL. They have got dates in Amsterdam during ACL. ACL festival booker Charles Attal also stated that Pearl Jam is not on the bill either. When asked about the Smashing Pumpkins or the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Attal responded that the headliners are even bigger. Charles Attal later confirmed that Radiohead was not on the bill due to scheduling conflicts.
