Wonder who will fill the spot at this years fest. Some big shoes to fill. It may determine if I am still attending...hopefully sooner than later we'll know
Has anybody heard anything about a replacer for the BB's? I just don't see Friday without a big headliner to replace them. How about Tribe Called Quest. Has anybody called Q-Tip? They have to be available.
I would be thoroughly disappointed if they replace the Beastie Boys with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. They just aren't a Beastie quality substitute. Although it seems likely since C3 signed them for Lolla. Hoping that Charles Attal surprises us with a solid replacement capable of replacing BB.
Jay Z has replaced them at another festival, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs replaced them at Lolla, and Tenacious D replaced them at a third. No official word for ACL yet.
