according to Muse's website, they new album should be available in July. They will be on an Euro tour with the last scheduled date in late August. Nothing booked for September. A couple years ago, Muse were voted "Best UK Live Rock Band". They are one of my favorite bands, and I would like to see them play ACL.
come on, radiofogg, you HAVE to be joking...if you've actually heard muse, you'd know they're nothing like radiohead, with the exception of the occasional likeness between matt bellamy and thom yorke's voices. Anyways, that has nothing to do with this forum. Just trying to figure out if they might come for acl.
They put on a very good performance, high production values with their light show, etc... I enjoyed their Austin Music Hall concert a year ago.
They have a new album out, so I would consider them a candidate. I would not be surprised at all. However, just like 200 or so other bands that make sense on that level, it is nothing by speculation at this point.
The schedule so far has various festival appearances in Europe and Asia, no U.S. dates. September is wide open.
Muse would be awesome, they seem to sound better on live recordings than on their album, is that true Malone?
It'd also be cool for ACL to get Muse because they're a big band with the potential to become huge, and they aren't playing any of the other American festivals (that i know of)
Like Malone said, though, pure speculation until the 18th.
