they were there last year, awesome show. was just thinking perhaps perhaps perhaps they might do a repeat, i know they were just at stubbs, but the also did SXSW and are lastly sceduled for Lolapalooza...so it would seem they are dong a bit of fesitval action...

any one hear anything? any thoughts on this?

I heard their show last year was mediocre, but I was busy, I think, at Blues Traveler. They are a Texas (Austin?) band, so I wouldn't be too surprised to see them back, unless the festival is aiming for variety (not having too many bands repeat.)

I've thoroughly enjoyed seeing them live numerous times in the recent past as well as at last year's ACL Fest, but their new album is just plain bollocks. And sadly, recent shows have been bloody awful because of their heavy focus on the new music.

i wasn't completely convinced by the new album until i gave it a couple of listens...after the first run through i didn't feel completely overwhelmed...but after hearing it a few more times...well...i'm sold. there is some seriously good stuff on there.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned them earlier- they play here so often, seems like they would play ACL for sure.
