Ween's manager posted a few weeks ago on the Ween forum, that she wouldn't be suprised if Ween played ACL this year, she also noted that they hadn't been invited.
They've got a couple of dates with Flaming Lips this summer, so lets see. Plus they are all tight with the Stubb'/Attal/CSE consortium.
The only time I've ever listened to the Flaming Lips is when they backed up Beck on the ACL TV show a year or two ago. I admit that I did thouroughly enjoy that performance, but something tells me that seeing an actual Flaming Lips performance won't be quite the same (in a bad way). What should I expect?
flaming lips performances are the most amazing. i've never seen them live in person, but search online for some videos. i'm really really excited about them playing. one of the major reasons why i got festival tickets.
