from the BH website:
Ben's first major gigs included a spot on the slide guitar with blues legend Taj Mahal. On this episode of Austin City Limits, Taj Mahal wrecks shop while Ben backs him up on tracks like "Queen Bee", a John Lee Hooker cover later released in 1998 on the compilation album Big Blues Extravaganza!: The Best Of Austin City Limits. The setlist reflects the broadcast.

Chicoman:

You may be right,
But, the link below is all the evidence you need to think it could be Taj Mahal or Ben Harper.

Good for ACL, actually coming up with at tricky question. To bad, they can't get the Grackles up.

I think that it's not up to ACL, I think it's down to the operator of the individual web site, like if the web operator for Ben Harper went and got piss drunk last night and wasn't able to wake up until noon.

And the grackle was just still on Matisyahu's site- I never thought that I would use the word grackle so much in one day

This sucks. If we got Ben Harper, and it's true that Dave Matthews is coming, then we are looking at frat boy fest '06.

Well, that's where we are going to have to agree to disagree...

Luckily we still have the Lips to liven things up!

If you look at Taj's tour dates, he is booked elsewhere for the weekend of Sept 15th.
