I agree with KB.

The lineup is great, but it wouldn't surprise me to see Wilco, Robert Randolph, or the Killers added, based on that one guy's article. Spoon wouldn't either, Austin loves Spoon.

I am with ya kb and red,, they will add a few more bands anyway. I like discovering the new bands anyway. Because radio really sucks in the Dallas area, its hard to find new bands I like. I pretty much figured there was nothing out there, then I made it to the 2nd annual ACLfest and faith was renewed. Past years I discovered through ACL bands like Mofro, Slightly Stoopid, G Love, Bob Schneider, Morgan Heritage, Papa Mali, The gourds , Liz Phair, one of my all-time faves lucinda williams,, list goes on and on. This year there are many more to discover,, subdudes and damien marley have already caught my ear. Lot more downloading to do. Been a long time fan of Massive Attack,, glad Frederico Aubele is playing this year after canceling last year. All in all , gonna be a good time,, see ya'll, I'll be camped out under the big tree in the middle, and I am hopin' all the bitchin people don't show,, more room that way, but I be bettin' they will sell out.

True there's only 123 on there...the other 7 bands could give the festival an edge....they should really hurry posting those up though, cuz they're getting a lot of people's spirits down.

my tickets are for sale, let me know if you are interested....how are all of the old people going to handle the heat and dust storms? that might be worth the price of admission itself.

think of each addition as an added bonus. just keep repeating to yourself...130 band, I can't wait till the jukebox feature kicks in, its a great way to introduce ya to the unfamiliar acts. And you think they are bitching now? wait till the grids come out.

No more big acts will be named.

Just got an ACL E-mail saying that they have named the big acts, and the other seven or so bands will be singer-songwriters and Kiddie stage performers.

The only thing worse than this underwhelming lineup (and I'm being nice with that word choice) is the thought of standing in 100+ degree heat to see said setlist.

Maybe next year I shouldn't read this thing. Than I wouldn't have been excited about RHCP, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Prince, Beck, Sonic Youth, My Morning Jacket, etc etc etc

Look, if you people want a quick fix of some overrated trendy hipster band you "totally" dig now and will forget about next year, go mainline at another music festival. I am going to hear great music (which there will plenty), enjoy the outdoors and spend time with my friends. What more could you ask for? Try being happy with what's being offered for a change. There is no crying at ACL!!

Geezerfest!!!! i love it!

and by the way, these message boards are where people state their opinions, whether you agree w/ them or not is your problem. not everyone is going to agree completely. so those of you who are getting upset because others aren't happy w/ the line-up and they are stating it, you should chill. complaining isn't going to change any of the line-up to Geezerfest 2006....and by the way this line-up SUCKS!!!

Well if anyone doesn't want their tickets, I need an extra one and it sounds like there are a lot of people on here who might be willing to get rid of one
