if this is true, then great. I heard they killed it at Coachella, and drew the largest crowd there. I'll be seeing them myself in about two weeks, can't wait!

phoenix will not be there... they were there last year and ACL doesnt repeat back to back

ACL does repeat back to back. If the band has either had a recent album out or has grown significantly in popularity. I don't know if Phoenix will be back or not but their show in Austin sold out in less than 30 minutes and they weren't main stage headliners last year.

Yeah I think its only headliners ACL doesn't repeat back to back

Hmm you're right - they were a headliner in 2005 and 2007. Not back to back though.

Ghostland Observatory has gone back to back I'm pretty sure. Granted they're an Austin favorite.

Spoon and Ben Kweller have both repeated as well.

so has Franz Ferdinand

Ghostland Observatory was only a headliner in 2009.

muse played 2006 and 2007.. they closed out a night in 2007.

i would be amazing...but let's wait >_<
