2) ACL will never be as good or as much fun as Bonnaroo. Even if you add the camping element to ACL, unless you remove the UT kid/Top 40 Radio loving music fans, the Amy Winehouse's of the world will continue to make the line-up, and people that have never heard Phish's music nor seen the live show they put on wil lcontinue to say "they suck."

3) You're all so infinitely intelligent that you elected George Bush as your Governor, and elected him twice as President. Thats all anyone needs to really know about this and if I were a noted musician, I wouldn't want to entertain any of you either.

I hope to see Kerry Underwood this year.

what a fail post.. equating the political party of a state to it's musical tastes? so what, not everyone is in love with your favorite band phish.. quit spitting bullshit from your soapbox.

Have fun with Jay Z and Kings of Leon this summer at Bonnaroo, they are definitely artists an elitist, anti-top 40 prick like you would never have at their festival. Also, I am from Texas, I go to ACL and I didn't vote for Dubbah so fuck off.

If you really think Austinites elected Bush, then you are an idiot. Second, by your logic, this whole country elected Bush, so unless you live out of the U.S., that would make you a fellow nimrod too.

Dude you are so smart. Too bad nobody in Phish qualifies as a "noted musician" so there is a chance they may still want to entertain us.

all this provides a perfect case in point why Phish shouldnt be at ACL! haha.

and i have seen a Phish show and have endured many live bootlegs. and i still cant stand them...

apparently there is a difference between being a good musician and making good music!

can you explain why you think all this mean Phish shouldn't be at ACL?

and there isn't really a "difference" between being a good musician & making good music but there is no direct correlation nor are they mutually exclusive

does anyone have some real line-up information? this site is such a waste of time, can't beleive I have even wasted ten minutes reading through this worthless banter...you people have a little too much spare time on your hands...how about getting to the bottom of who's actually playing? Any more confirmations? I have heard that Flaming Lips, MIA and Eagles are all confirmed...

When and where was MIA confirmed? That's the only person on your list I haven't heard anything about yet?

MIA is reportedly confirmed in another one of those mystery lyrics ads in today's austin chronicle. But I haven't seen the issue yet myself.

Muse has confirmed.
They had a sign outside of the fence at Stubbs that read "They Will Not Control Us, We Will Be Victorious". That's the song "Uprising" from Muse.
