To this day, the Eagles show I saw in '94 was one of the most boring shows I've seen. I really can't fathom ACL bringing in a band that hasn't released a full album of new material since 1979.

I'll be leaving early w Phish playing...ugh...another hippie noodle jam band..definitely not my cup of tea.

I would be impressed with the selection of Muse, Phoenix, Dead Weather, Arcade Fire, Keane

Not a big fan of Flaming Lips music, but their live shows equate to watching good theater.

I'm going to guess that you've never seen a Phish show because that statement is quite false. I can see the Eagles closing the fest and Phish being one of the Saturday headliners.

I support 80% of that list, but there is no way that Blues Traveler, Robert Earl Keen and John Butler Trio are top 15.

Anyone but the Eagles closing is fine with me. Putting the Eagles Saturday night just ensures I'll go see Muse/Phoenix/Arcade Fire instead.

Probability of The Strokes?

Ok, so 'aclbro' started a thread last week saying he knew the guy doing the poster art and was given a list of the headliners, I will quote that post:

"hi my friend is designing the lineup poster for ACL. He hasn't been given a list of the bands except for the headliners, and a few placeholders for each line.
He says the headliners this year are
gorrilaz, muse, my morning jacket, the flaming lips, the strokes and phoenix"

Then he creates this thread, which totally contradicts what he posted last week. So take this "confirmed lineup" he's given us with a grain of salt, because in my opinion, the guy who posted this has no real credibility.
