They played ACL year before last, I believe. They're a great festival band. It's an awesome show to check out right when you get there. The kind of stuff that puts you in the right mood going into the weekend. I'd expect a stage time somewhere late afternoon on Friday.
While they aren't music I actively seek, two years ago I greatly enjoyed listening to them in the distance behind me while camping out for the night's closing act. As mentioned above, it's great jam music for a lazy afternoon in the park.
it was 2 years ago they were at ACLFest. I was really impressed with them. John Popper's weight loss and stints with other bands over the past few years definitely played a part in how good they sounded.
I love me some blues travelers. Popper does play a mean harmonica. Great band and highly recomend it. I will probably have to pass on them just because i have seen them over a half dozen times so will have to see who they are up against. If someone I really want to see is after them might check um out again and save me some walkin.
