Hes doing a european tour leaving late September(first tour since 1993), he probably trying to ramp up. He did Jazzfest. He has a new album. He seems to be a fit.

I've wondered about that one. Seems like he would fit better in the Tom Petty slot. Although a Friday night show wouldn't be a bad fit either.
