When I click on the Scavenger hunt icon, it says the full lineup will be released May 11. So I think we'll have to wait longer.
As to the Chili Peppers, I like them, but I hope they don't play the Festival, just because it would really detract from the whole vibe, there's really no comparison between Widespread Panic, the Black Crowes or Ben Harper to RHCP, it's a weirder style which I think goes beyond ACL and the festival.
More often than not, Voodoo headliners will play the major Texas Markets around the time of Voodoo Fest.
So, the odds are RHCP will play Texas shortly before or after 10/28-10/29.
As stated earlier by the promoters and discussed in other threads, they are not playing ACL.

Peppers To Rock Voodoo Music Experience
April 27, 2006, 12:00 AM ET
Jonathan Cohen, N.Y. The Red Hot Chili Peppers are the first band confirmed for the eighth Voodoo Music Experience, Billboard.com can exclusively reveal. The event will be held Oct. 28-29 at a New Orleans venue to be announced.
Last year's Voodoo Music Experience was the first major musical event held in the Crescent City in the wake of Hurricane Katrina and boasted performances by Nine Inch Nails, Queens Of The Stone Age, Tiesto, the Bravery, the New York Dolls and Secret Machines, among others.
A host of native New Orleans musicians also appeared, some of them playing in the city for the first time since Katrina struck.
"Beyond booking top level acts, we remain committed to the local music community," Voodoo producer Steve Rehage tells Billboard.com. "WWOZ ('New Orleans roots radio') is again on board as a sponsor and we will work together to ensure that New Orleans musicians will continue to have a place at Voodoo."
Additional details will be released in the coming weeks on the event's Web site.
